Comittment to Student Wellbeing and Support
EmployNZ is committed to supporting the wellbeing and safety of our students. Along with other tertiary education Providers in New Zealand, we must ensure that we are compliant with the expectations set out in the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.
One of the requirements of the Code of Practice is for each Provider to publish their Self Reviews so students have access to the review documentation we complete annually. The review documents are evidence that we have completed our review and have made an action plan for any improvements or gaps we have identified. EmployNZ also completes and Annual Attestaion for NZQA stating that we have conducted our review.
EmployNZ has decided to adopt the NZQA Self review tools and reports and felt that this website was the better location for the publication as it is designed for current students, their parents and or care givers and whanau. The review documentation is an operational document and therefore the format and content is typical of the evidence we provide NZQA in these instances and is not as ‘polished’ or as easy to read as other documents that we publish.
